Why Dont You Hang Out With Married Women?

Last night I, along with what seems to be my entire twitter timeline, tuned into VH1,to watch Lala's Full Court Wedding. So far it seem like a "cute" enough show. Lala has really done a style/glamour transformation in the past year. When she was a VJ on MTV she was ,quite boring and a little tick tack with her style, but in recent months she has been looking a lot better. But this blog post isn't really about Lala or her transformed style, it is about a comment that one her her friends ,singer/actor Tyrese made. His comment, well question to Lala was,"Why are you not hanging with married women, who have been married for a long time...?" This comment sent my twitter followers into an uproar. With me it was funny that Tyrese said this, because my husband says the exact same thing to me. I don't take what my husband or Tyrese said as, "do not hang out with single people" and I feel that that is what many viewers took from Tyrese's statement.Personally, I am (almost) 25, wife and mother and often things that are going on in my life, the average single 25 year old could not relate too. That does not make them bad people, it just simply means that have never been in that type of situation. Married people need to have other married people around for support. Dating,living together and even being engaged is a totally different ball game then actually being HAPPILY MARRIED.Most of my friends are single and childless, I have very few married friends and I don't get to see them as often as i would like,but I love them all the same. I never would want to become an "old married lady" who sits around and loses her sociability. But at the same time it would be great to have more married/mommy friends who understand the things you go through and can give you advice. Not having that support system can be difficult.All in all it boils down to this, the blind can't lead the blind.

*YAWNS* 2010 VMA's

So, last night's VMA's was a snore fest, THANKS GOODNESS FOR MY TWITTER FAM KEEPING ME ENTERTAINED FOR 2 1/2 hrs! I was excited that Chelsea Handler was going to be hosting, I find her funny on her show, but last night she disappointed! And did Officer Ricky really pick her up on a Hoover Round?? From the looks of things, it is clear that no one matters in music right now besides Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga and racked up 8 moon men, wore Alexander McQueen and later changed into a meat suit, WTF! I'm all for artistic freedom but , biiiiiiittchhhh that was a mess!Onto ,Justin Bieber , he is like a Justin Timberlake/Usher mix with a little Travis Barker mixed in! H eis also my BEST DRESSED OF THE NIGHT! That kid is super talented and ladies 9 to 99 love him. After all the pre show hype was about Nicki Minaj's 1st solo televised performance...which really wasn't solo because she performed with Will.I.Am , who decided he wanted to dress in blackface,WTF again! Nicki's performance was extra dry, all that hype for absolutely nothing. And for her to have the body that she has, she sure doesnt know how to shake it. Kanye West performance did absolutely nothing for me, we already know you are a douchebag, we didnt need you or that Red Suit to remind us? I was excited to see CHER, present in a version of her classic sheer/ see thru body suit,from IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME video that she 1st wore 21 years ago!Cher is 64 years oldand her body is Bad A**! I was VERY disappointed in the fashion, everyone was DREADFUL (in my Dwight from ATL Housewives voice) , I'm guessing all the fashion is in NY for fashion week. Speaking of FASHION apparently, according some ppl on twitter Snooki is a fashion Icon and Kim Kardashian is not!During the Pre Show one of the VJ's referred to Snooki as a fashion icon, myself and a few of my friends were like WTF you can't be serious,but when Kim Kardashian was announced as a Fashion Icon, twitter went on a rampage about how she wasn't!! Another WTF moment!
Let's be real people, you may think Kim is famous for nothing, but you can't deny she's Bad Ass and very fashionable!

MEET THE BDAY GIRL:Ariel

I want to wish my SUPERGOURGE friend Ariel (@theeariel) a very happy 25th Bday!!! Ariel and I met in the 9th grade in Algebra class. Here is a very embrassing pic of us both back then,lol! Ariel is a mommy ,model and actress. She was on season 2 of BET's Hell Date! I look forward to seeing Ariel's star rise! Happy Birthday El, love you much!

NO,NO,NO: Mya, Amerie and Lil'Kim

I am all for switching your stlye up,but everything does not work for everyone! First up is Queen Bee and the ORGINAL Black Barbie, Lil'Kim. Over the years Kim has done A LOT of changing on us. It's almost impossible to remember what the cute girl from Brooklyn looked like! I for 1 am an advocate of plastic surgery! Why not. And if you say you aren't then that's fine and your choice but I can bet you 10x's out of 10, that your favorite celebrity has has some sort of nip, tuck or enhancement, but that is besdies the point. I think Lil' Kim has went over board with her surgeries, and has had a few mishaps along the way and tired to get them corrected. I came across this picture of Lil' Kim , from over the weekend and her face looks stiff as a brick! Kimmy I beg you no more botox,chin, cheek implants or nose jobs, you're face may cave in!
Next up is a 2 for 1, the DMV's own Mya and Amerie. These 2 R&B singers are both recently decided to go blonde. I actually love blonde hair, I was blonde for about 3 years and thinking about lighten up my locks again. But when I came across these pics of Mya and Amerie they were unregonizable. These are two SUPERGOURGE women, but it looks like they have been over processed! I love Amerie's signature dark long wavy curls and Mya is Gourgeous with a more auburn color. Either way these are all 3 very SUPERGOURGE women, but sometimes you shouldn't mess with perfection!!

I have fallen massively, deeply in love with theses Bad Ass designers!!Phillipe and David Blond have been a couple for over a decade. Their line is inspired by fearless women and Phillipe's large collection of Christian Louboutin's. This duo made there debut at fashion week in fall of 2008 at fashion week, but the couple started their line in 2004.Many celebs from Beyonce,Lady Gaga, Rihanna,Miley Cyrus Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian, along with a host of others have rocked some of the BLONDS SUPERGOURGE corsets and dresses! The runways shows from this design duo are amazing and their models always strut the catwalk with Blonde hair, of course and in red bottoms! Spikes,glitter and Louboutin's , who could ask for anything more??

I AM IN LOVE with these!

For Months I have been stalking these booties!! I absolutely love love love them!! I really hate the saying "to die for " but these booties right here, these are TO DIE FOR and then come back to life to wear,lol!!These Christian Louboutin's are apart of the Fall collection and are called BRIDGET BACK, they also come in gold and silver. I was hoping these would be my BDAY shoe, but then I found out these SUPERGOURGE booties come with a hefty price tag of $3965, YIKES!! I love them but not enough to live in them!I will continue to admire them from afar , and maybe...just maybe I may get my bday wish!!!!
