MEET ALICIA

I can not believe I didnt do a post on my friend Alicia by now! Her birthday was on Halloween ans I meant to do her post then!! Alicia and I met in 9th grade and have been friends ever since (well not couting those 2 yrs she wasnt our friend, INSIDER,LOL. She is a SCORPIO like me, which means she is very outspoken. I think she may even be more outspoken then me. We always debate on which one of us is meaner, I would said she is, I'm super nice now,lol! Another thing Alicia and I have in common is that her favorite color is LEOPARD, too,lol. Alicia also has a son, Shawn, he is as much of a MJ fan as I am and I can't wait to kick his butt in MJ's Wii game! I love having Alicia in my life, she is one of the few people that I don't have to worry up sugar coating anything, she will give it to straight up! Guess that's the Scorpio in her!

ASK ASH: WHO DOES YOUR HAIR

I think the question that I get asked the most is "Who does your hair?". I am fortunate enough to have a great stylist and great friend in Erin Savage. Erin and I became friends at the end of our 11h grade year in high school. In 12th grade she would sometimes style my hair when I was to lazy to. Erin has had every hair style, cut and color that you can imagine.
In 12th grade, back in 2003 she dyed her hair blond and shaved it all off, before we knew who an Amber Rose,talk about trendsetting.I love having Erin as my hairstylist, because I am comfortable with telling her when I don't particularly care for a style or what I think works for me. Every week like clockwork, I take a 45 minute drive to the salon that she currently works at in Jessup called HEADLINE HAIR SALON (410-799-4415), to make sure my hair is right! I'm currently on my way there now,lol!! I have very weird hair, so between me not getting relaxers, getting weaves , exercising and other aspects of life, I put a lot of wear on my hair, so keeping up the maintenance on it is essential.
Erin takes very good care of my natural hair, right now I am trying to restore my hair, to how it was before I started chemically abusing it with color.From about 15 to 20 I was blond, bleaching every few months. This lead to my hair breaking off. Now my hair is almost back to where I want it to be. My goal is for my natural hair to be at 18 inches next summer, right now I am at about 12, so 6 more inches to go!Every women should have that stylist who knows your hair and knows what does and does not work for your hair. Recently I have wanted to re dye my hair blond and Erin has said no! I will take her word for it!Love you much E!!

I Turned 25!

My birthday was this past Saturday October 23rd, the 1st day of Scorpio Season, so I am always pleased that I get to bring the very sexy sign in a stylish manner. Usually I am uber excited for my birthday, but this year I had mixed feeling about about it , because I was turning the BIG 2-5, YIKES!!! Now I know 25 isn't actually old, but it is a milestone.I remember turning 18,like it was yesterday and time has flown. I look at 25 as the age when you are official a full fledged adult and you need to know exactly what you are going to do with your life. As for me I've done everything a little backwards, I had a baby, got married, bought a house and then went back to school. Now I am trying to figure out what I want to do with my life career wise.So I am taking these next few months to really decide what makes me happy and will also make a profit, of course whatever I decide it will be something SUPERGORGE, that is who I am!
On My birthday my husband surprised me with a horse&carriage ride around downtown DC, how sweet! I was very surprised.Thanks you honey!
Later that night I had dinner with my sisters and dearest friends at Buddha in DC. Thank you so much everyone for making 25 a very special day.


I am looking forward to seeing what this new phase in life has to offer!

Meet L'Ore'al

Meet L'Orea'l (@lorealdanee). L'Ore'al is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We met in the 7th grade at West Baltimore Middle (RockGlen) where we were known as the 725/849 girls.OMG AT THIS PIC I love having Lori in my life, we share very similar interest when it comes to fashion,modeling and acting and have dubbed a nickname for one another BP/FT (Business Partner/Fashion Twin).L'Ore'al is a graduate of Frostburg and is currently Retail Manager as well as a Radio intern, and let's not forget , very fabulous. With 15 yrs of friendship and fun times under our belts, I look forward to so many more yrs and good times with my BP/FT!

Meet Kendria and her HUGE OPI collection

Meet Kendria (@miss_pugh)! Kendria and I met about 2 years ago, when she said I was being mean to a slow a** bartender.Over the past 1 year Kendria and I have become really close and I am so glad that I have her as a friend and confidant. I call her GANGSTA BOO , because she LOVES Waka Flaka and Rick Ross, it's so funny.She also is VERY protective of her friends when we go, so do not try to get too close. Kendria is a student and works as in Enrollment at Walden University.It's funny how some people can only be in you life for a short period of time, but make such a huge impact! Love you Gangsta Boo
As women we all love our nail polish, especially OPI, with their fun names, but Kendria LOVES it, her collection is so extensive. She is the 1st one to find out about all the new collections and has all the different applications on her IPHONE that keeps track of the many colors she has. Kendria is amazing at painting her own nails, she paints the every 2/3 days and post the pics! Here is a look at Kendria's OPI collection, and this is just at her job!!!She is a Nail Polish Fanatic!

Meet Keisha and Trend:Long,sleek Ponytail

Meet Keisha (@keishanichole). Keisha and I have been friends since we met in the 9th grade at CITY and have been friends every since! She is more then a friend ,she is one of my son's god mothers, she is family. We fuss and fight like sisters but she always has my back and is there whenever I need her. She is a true blessing to have.Keisha is a real estate agent,event planner and she also works for Humanim, helping to place mentally challenged adults into the work force, amazing! Love you much Keesh. On Keisha's birthday a few months ago, Keisha wore a very sleek ,long ponytail, I loved this look on her! The sleek pony is one of my looks to try for fall. The style is timeless and appears effortless , while maintaining to give off CHIC! Just be sure that when wearing a sleek ponytail to make sure that your makeup is done, to keep you from looking like you are on your way to the gym, but make sure you keep the makeup from looking costumey. Also I would be sure to wear fabulous earrings for added glam! Fell free to add extensions into your ponytail for extra flair, just make sure it is the same color and texture of your hair, or you will look ridiculous!

I want to wish my SUPERGOURGE friend Ariel (@theeariel) a very happy 25th Bday!!! Ariel and I met in the 9th grade in Algebra class. Here is a very embrassing pic of us both back then,lol! Ariel is a mommy ,model and actress. She was on season 2 of BET's Hell Date! I look forward to seeing Ariel's star rise! Happy Birthday El, love you much!

Meet TAMARIE

1st up on introducing you all to my friends is , Tamarie ( @tamarie83 twitter). I met Tamarie maybe about 4/5 years ago, when we used to do fashion shows together. Tamarie has admitted to me when she 1st met me, she didn't like me because I was a b*tch (lol I've heard that a time or 2 before), but like everyone else once she got to know me , she loved me! Tamarie is a hairstylist and originally from Jamaica and when she gets mad, she turns into what we call a RASTA!!! Tamarie has become one of my closest friends and I am super sad , because next week she will be moving to Miami! So this weekend we are going to party it up for her going away celebration!! Tamarie, I love you and will miss having you to vent to!!But I'm super excited , I'll have somewhere to crash, in the 305!!!

Of course looks aren't everything, but being surrounded by SuperGourge people seems to make life that much more enjoyable!!I find it funny and alittle sad at the same time that there are some people who would rather hang out with less attractive people, to make themselves feel better! Not the case with my girls!!
