Fall 2009 Fashion Trends

I love, love, love Fall fashion!!!!The weather is great and it's time to pull out the jacket and boots!!! This fall is all about BOLD statements!! Shoulders are very in,one shoulder dresses are great for this season and Balmain has brought the "shoulder pad" look back in a very chic way and trendsetters such as Rihanna is one of the many celebrities who's been spotted everywhere with this trend and I've even tried it myself and I absolutely love it, its a play on the 80's but with a
2000's flair. Sequin , along with embellished Blazers, Destroyed Denim, Mesh and The Military look, are very "IN" right now (also trends I've tried myself), and of course leather is always big for fall as well as leopard print (one of my favorite staples) and of course you can never go wrong with a pair of sky high heels!!. There are so many styles to choose from, let this fall be your most fashionable one yet!!

I'm not a fan of the liquid leggings or latex dresses! That was a trend that I am glad to see go! What are some "outs" that you all have for fashion this Fall?

Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Odom

I absolutely love the Kardashian sisters! They have a great bond and seem like really fun girls, with great style may I add. I'm sure like myself, you all were super suprized to learn that middle sister Khloe,25 was getting married to Laker, Lamar Odom,29 just 4 weeks after meeting. They didn't have a long relationship or even an engagement , just straight to marriage. The wedding took place on September 27th in outdoor ceremony in LA. Of course sisters Kourtney, Kim, Kylie and Kendall served as bridesmaids as well as Khloe's best friends Lauren London,Malika and Khadijah Haqq, all dressed in Vera Wang.I'll have to admit that 4 weeks is very little time to actually know someone, but you may know someone for 4 years and not REALLY KNOW them. I believe Khloe is a very strong minded woman and wouldn't get married just as a publicity stunt or money (let's be honest Khloe isn't broke). I think she's truly happy,just by watching her date guys on "E!'s Keeping up with the Kardashians and Kourtney&Khloe take Miami", it seems she knew exactly what she didn't want in a relationship. I hope that she found everything she was looking for in a man, and that he is her Prince Charming!!I wish her and her new hubby all the happiness in the world. Marriage is a huge commitment and shouldn't taken lightly. Marriage takes patients and compromise, but most importantly it takes support and a lot of Love.We can catch all the excitement of the wedding on the Season Premiere of "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" on E! ,9 p.m. on November 8th.

RIP Ashley "A.J" Jewell

I just learned sad new that Ashley "A.J" Jewell ,Kandi Burress' (Real Housewives of Atlanta) ex-fiance, was murdered , during a fight at the strip club Body Tap in Atlanta! AJ suffered head injuries and was rushed to the hospital, but died shortly after. This is heartbreaking news, no I didn't know him personally and even on the show he wasn't someone I would say I liked, but the matter is he leaves behind 6 children, a family and friends. Death has become so abundant these days, its scary. We never know when its our time to go. Please live everyday like it's your last, don't hold grudges, don't be jealous or hate and do something nice for a stranger every once in awhile!
