Getting Slim with The Kardashians

It is holiday season,time for great laughs and memories with friends and families, many holiday parties and holiday dinners, which equals HOLIDAY POUNDS!! Those dreaded 5 to 10lbs that many of us gain around this time! I didnt over indulge on Thanksgiving, but with many Christmas parties approaching I know those extra pounds that I am dreading will pack on! So I am making an early New Years ReSOLUTION! I AM GETTING BACK IN THE GYM THIS WEEK! I DO WANT TO LOOSE ABOUT 5-8LBS AND TONE UP!
Sisters Kim&Khloe Kardashian are spokesmodels for diet supplement line QUICKTRIM! Kim posted some pics of the two at there recent OuickTrim photoshoot! The pictures were a little surprising to me! Being a Kardashian to me means, having long dark flowing hair, a great wardrobe and an amazing booty!! The girls have seemed to have lost their infamous ASSests! I think Kim has always had an amazing figure, she's lost about 15-20lbs now! Khloe looks great at this smaller size but I cant help but to compare the two to bobble head dolls!Although in clothes the two still look very shapely, but in bathing suits the curves seem to diappear!I love the Kardashians for the fact that they were shapely and curveous women who seemed to be proud of them, I am proud to not be stick thin and have hips and butt, so this holiday season with working out, my goal is to tone up and have everyhting in place not to get skinny!!

Soul Train Awards 2009

Overall I enjoyed the SOUL TRAIN AWARDS, there were some gliches with editing and sound but otherwise ok!Letoya Luckett, Claudia Jordan and Fonzworth Bentley hosted the red carpet, they were ok! Letoya seems like a cool girl. The Show Host Taraji P Henson and Terrance Howard did a good job, and were able to show off their vocal talents. I think Tariaj would be an absolute perfect choice, if there is ever a movie mad about Diana Ross' life. Now for the Kiss between the two at the end....WTF, and where did that come from?? I was so unnecessary. There have been rumors that the 2 are now dating, and that is the reason for Terrance Howard's recent split from his fiance'! Maybe , maybe not! I thought Toni Braxton and Trey Songz performance was great, Toni sings and looks better then ever, she is an amazing singer. I'm sure that petty kiss they did during their performance is not the reason for her marriage breaking up. I am SO happy that Keri Hilson won for BEST NEW ARTIST. I think she a good singer, and an amazing writer and has good personal style, she is her own person, I love it!She looked great during the night, hair and make up fabulous! Her performance was ok, she does not appear to be much of a dancer! Beyonce' won for best album of the year.Robin Thicke is an honorary black person, i love his voice!!I also liked the medley of 90's music with Boys II Men, Johnny Gill, Chico Debarge and others! 90's R&B is my favorite era of music! I changed the channel for a bit of Charlie Wilson's tribute ( sorry the RAVENS were playing), but I did catch K-Ci......I feel so sorry for him, he is completely talentless now! Say No to Drugs! And Kandi clearly forgot the words, when performing with Brian McKnight. Chaka Khans tribute was great and she's still has pipes!I did not know who Ledisi was, my twitter friends let me know I need to get familiar! So I will be checking her music out! The DMV represented at the awards in a major way, Mario, Raheem Devaughn, Toni Braxton, Johnny Gill, and Ginuwine! This market has so much talent!The ATL housewives were there to introduce and they looked ok! I was not feeling Lisa Wu Hartwell's Matrix inspired leather dress! I love Lisa, but there is a right and wrong way to wear a leather dress and that was so wrong! The one thing that did disappoint me was the fashion!! I'm always looking at what people are wearing and nobody really did any outfit changes!! My words of wisdom is do not perform in the outfit you walked the red carpet in and if you perform do not change back in to the outfit you walked the red carpet in! From my twitter friends I see some people had mixed feelings, I overall enjoyed them everyone who performed good really SING , and that's what R&B and soul music is about! It wasn't a hip hop or pop show! Did you like it??

American Music Awards 2009

Last night were the American Music Awards (AMA's) and I watched them and twitted with my twitter friends! It is so funny to see everyones comments about what is happening during shows!Before I even get into the award show let me say just because you are a fan of an artist DOES NOT mean you have to like EVERYTHING they say, do, wear, sing etc. somethings are just wack!! Ok, on to the show, the show opened with a much anticipated performance from Janet Jackson! She did a medley of her hits, her dance moves were ok, her face looked great but her outfit choice was terrible! It is obvious Janet has put on some weight and the shape of her performance pants were very unflattering. This is coming form someone who adores Janet Jackson! Her stylist could have done a much better job on our ICON Ms.Jackson. Jay Z and Alicia Keys' performance was dope, Jay looked extra spiffy in his white and black tux and Alicia is always beautiful. Rihanna's performance left me wanting more, when it ended I was sitting waiting for the next part, for a "comeback" it wasn't much, as for her performance outfit. it was just that A PERFORMANCE OUTFIT!! Ladies please I repeat, please do not try to attempt to wear an outfit like this out to a nightclub, that's tacky and since your friends won't tell you I will. Lady Gaga is just that GAGA, crazy as hell but entertaining non the least! Black Eye Peas had Baltimore Club music playing for their performance (yay Bmore) and Fergie looked great with her darker locks! I loved Jennifer Lopez' intro to her performance, mamacita is still one of the hottest chics in the game, at 40 years old and with twins, I can only hope I look that great at her age. She did slip during her performance but recovered well! Whitney performed and looked amazing, she truly is one of the best singers of our lifetime and I'm glad she is back and healthy.
As for the winners I definitely feel that Keri Hilson should have taken an award home, and what exactly has Eminem done this year (or the past few years) to be nominated for at least 2 awards?? I'm still confused on that one! Overall I got more entertainment from my twit followers then the awards itself!

Halloween Pt 1

I was so happy that I got to dress up twice for Halloween this year. I love all holidays and Halloween is my second favorite (Christmas is #1). I love that we get to dress up as characters, it is very fun and great to see how creative some people get with their costumes. On Friday October DJ QUICKSILVA had his second annual Halloween Birthday Bash at Ibiza night club! Our friends and family all came to our house and we took a party bus over! Quick and I dressed up as IKE AND TINA TURNER!! It is so funny because when I was 10 I dressed up as TINA,lol! I'll have to do a side by side comparison of then and now! We all had a great time, some had to much of a good time and were passed out in the club,lol "life of a rock star make not make it!" As I looked through all the pics from that nite it was so hard for me to only pick a few to post! Next year will be BIGGER and BETTER, so if you weren't there make plans to be there next year!

I hope to see you all tonight at DJ Quicksilva's birthday costume party! Last year we had so much fun,Quick was BISHOP MAJIC DON JAUN and I was FOXY BROWN, all of our friends got dressed up too and we partied! The traffic was so bad, we had to get out of our limo and walk down the street, because we were stuck on New York Ave.for over 30mins! Cars were lined up trying to get to Quicksilva's birthday party! This year will be even bigger and better! I hope to see you all there! $1,000 for the person with the best costume!!!See you 2nite!

Birthday Celebration!!

I had an absolute great time for my Birthday celebrations this year!!! On my actually Birthday I had a great day out with my wonderful husband, Spa Day ( we drove an hour and half just 2 go to my favorite Spa) and shopping trip!!! On the night of my bday, my family and girlfriends came over for drinks and games! Girls Nite In are always funny!!On Saturday we all went to LOVE! I had so much fun! My friends and I have a birthday tradition of giving the birthday girl lap dances,we've been doing them every birthday for about 2years now! Do you and your friends have any crazy traditions? My theme of the night was "White Boy Wasted" Needless to say we popped many bottles, and were just that "White Boy Wasted" , the stories and memories sare so funny! One of my friends even ended up in the DETOX room of the club (I wont say who,lol)!! It was fun times! Thank you to everyone who helped me celebrate!! I love you ALL

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Hey Everyone today is my 24th Birthday!!I absolutely love my birthday, my mom says I think its a NATIONAL holiday! Of course getting gifts is great , but most importantly I love it because I get treated like a QUEEN( WELL THAT'S EVERYDAY,LOL)!I have a great husband, can't wait to see what his gift is! He got me a yorkie a few years ago and I was SUPER surprised! This year he has a day planned out for us, I can wait to see what we do! On birthdays my friends and I all get 2gether! It has become so hard to get all of my girls 2gethere at the same time, we are all so extremely busy, so I'm super excited to spend time with them this Birthday as well! My Bday festivities will last for about a 2weeks, I'll be sure to share picture with you all!! Shout out to my mom, for giving birth to me today 24years ago, lol!!
