Sergio Rossi vs Steve Madden :The Look For Less

I absolutely love love love,the Sergio Rossi Cachet Suede Pump. Its a full pump with a take on the peep toe with a slit in the front.This gourgeous pump cost $695, an excellent price for a timeless pump, but if you don't want to spend $700 on a shoe I found an almost exact shoe made by Steve Madden for $109.95. These shoes are almost identical, so my suggestion would be to save 600 bucks and go for the Steve Maddens. Either way, they both ar great shoes! So happy shopping!!!!

A not so new trend to expand upon for Fall and Winter is Leather,Lace and Spikes!! This trend gives it all,it is Glamour,it is timeless, and give fun edgy-ness...is that a word? As with any trend ,these style should be worn in moderation and mixed and matched with others, making it your very own. Leather jackets now should have more of a tailor fit, long gone are the days of over sized biker chick leather jackets.The look is now more feminine and sexy. But, over sized Lace is sexy as well, if paired with something a little more form fitting.. With this look of leather and lace you have to extremes, you can wear short mini lace with a leather blazer over the the top and be punk chic or you could pair that same lace mini with pearls and pumps and be sweet as pie.Add a little spike into you ensemble with a spike purse,belt or shoe. Meet Kendria (@miss_pugh)! Kendria and I met about 2 years ago, when she said I was being mean to a slow a** bartender.Over the past 1 year Kendria and I have become really close and I am so glad that I have her as a friend and confidant. Meet Keisha (@keishanichole). Keisha and I have been friends since we met in the 9th grade at CITY and have been friends every since! She is more then a friend ,she is one of my son's god mothers, she is family. We fuss and fight like sisters but she always has my back and is there whenever I need her. She is a true blessing to have.Keisha is a real estate agent,event planner and she also works for Humanim, helping to place mentally challenged adults into the work force, amazing! Love you much Keesh. On Keisha's birthday a few months ago, Keisha wore a very sleek ,long ponytail, I loved this look on her! The sleek pony is one of my looks to try for fall. The style is timeless and appears effortless , while maintaining to give off CHIC! Just be sure that when wearing a sleek ponytail to make sure that your makeup is done, to keep you from looking like you are on your way to the gym, but make sure you keep the makeup from looking costumey. Also I would be sure to wear fabulous earrings for added glam! Fell free to add extensions into your ponytail for extra flair, just make sure it is the same color and texture of your hair, or you will look ridiculous!

Who Wore It Best?? KIM vs Khloe

It was posted on some blogs this weekend, that sisters Khloe and Kim Kardashian shared the same Herve Leger dress this pass week. Well correction the dress that Kim and Khloe wore is NOT Herve Leger , it is actually apart of THE KARDASHIAN/BEBE line for fall 2010, and the dresses are different colors. Khloe is wearing the dress in Charcoal and Kim's is an Moss Green, but the lighting has made them appear the same color.These 2 sisters have very different body types, Kim is 5'2 and about 110lbs while Khloe's is about 5'9 and I would say 140, the dress looks completely different on them and I have to say the Kim wore it best!!!Who do yo think wore it best?

My favorite trend,hands down , year round is leopard print!!! I love,love, love , leopard print.My friend Alicia jokes me and says that leopard print is my favorite color,lol! The leopard is a hunter, fast, courageous and fabulous, that is what draws me to this feline!Wearing leopard instantly makes me feel sexy!I have many staple leopard items in my closet , that i just adore. I wear leopard all year around, but my favorite time to wear this ,all ways in , trend, is in fall and winter. But there are some rules to go by to keep you from looking like Mel B. in her Scary Spice/Spice Girls days!

If you are going to do leopard chose 1 item to be the print!If doing a leopard dress, keep the accessories simples, or vice versa if wearing a plain solid outfit incorporate leopard accents such as shoes or a bag! Keeping the proportions in check will allow you to achieve a chic look instead of looking tick tack. Colorful leopard prints and mixing colors can be tricky. Rihanna pulled it off very well in this Dolce and Gabbana dress, but we must keep in mind , this is Rihanna, her body is sick and almost every thing looks great on her. Also with leopard print another Fall trend to try would be a dark red lip, I adore those two looks together, very pin up glam! I also love, the combination of leopard and 1 of my favorite colors army green together, its such a great contrast in masculine and feminine. You have to know what works for your body and what does not, your friends may not tell you the truth , but the mirror does! Why Dont You Hang Out With Married Women?

Last night I, along with what seems to be my entire twitter timeline, tuned into VH1,to watch Lala's Full Court Wedding. So far it seem like a "cute" enough show. Lala has really done a style/glamour transformation in the past year. When she was a VJ on MTV she was ,quite boring and a little tick tack with her style, but in recent months she has been looking a lot better. But this blog post isn't really about Lala or her transformed style, it is about a comment that one her her friends ,singer/actor Tyrese made. His comment, well question to Lala was,"Why are you not hanging with married women, who have been married for a long time...?" This comment sent my twitter followers into an uproar. With me it was funny that Tyrese said this, because my husband says the exact same thing to me. I don't take what my husband or Tyrese said as, "do not hang out with single people" and I feel that that is what many viewers took from Tyrese's statement.Personally, I am (almost) 25, wife and mother and often things that are going on in my life, the average single 25 year old could not relate too. That does not make them bad people, it just simply means that have never been in that type of situation. Married people need to have other married people around for support. Dating,living together and even being engaged is a totally different ball game then actually being HAPPILY MARRIED.Most of my friends are single and childless, I have very few married friends and I don't get to see them as often as i would like,but I love them all the same. I never would want to become an "old married lady" who sits around and loses her sociability. But at the same time it would be great to have more married/mommy friends who understand the things you go through and can give you advice. Not having that support system can be difficult.All in all it boils down to this, the blind can't lead the blind.
