BET HONORS

On Saturday my husband and I attended The BET honors. Our seats were great and the show was good. Unfortunately , we couldn't take any pictures during the show :(. This was my 1st award show, so I was a little amazed at how things go down in the background during taping!




This years honorees were Supermodel and humanitarian Iman, Historian Lonnie G. Bunch III,Musician Herbie Hancock, Entertainer Jamiee Foxx, Media Mogul Linda Johnson-Rice and legendary actress Cicely Tyson. It was all hosted by Gabriella Union , who had 10 wardrobe changes! Love it!

*HIGHLIGHTS*

When Iman walked in, I literally teared up, she is beyond SUPERGORGE, I may have to make up a new word for her.



NE-YO performed a medley of classic hits. Neyo is my favorite male singer, I had never saw him perform live, so this was a treat.



Marsha Ambrosius did a tribute to Teena Marie and she sound AMAZING!



Keyshia Cole performed, hmmmmmmmmm, didn't love it.



My husband was pleasantly surprised that Lalah Hathaway performed, he used to wear one of her CDs out!




Tank, who writes and produces for Jamiee Foxx performed, followed by GUY, who had everyone out of there seats!




Yolonda Adams performed as a tribute to Cicely Tyson.



Trey Songz closed the night out with WE CAN'T BE FRIENDS and my all time favorite song, LET'S STAY TOGETHER!

The Game Is Returning With Some NEW Yet Familiar Faces

Next week is the return of the highly anticipated television show THE GAME!! After 2 years of waiting , on 1-11-11 the entire original cast will be back along with some other familiar faces. Rumor is , the SuperGorge ATL Housewife, Sheree Whitfield has a guest role on the show.
This season on Atlanta Housewives, we saw Sheree taking a dive into acting. We are guessing Sheree's role is going to be playing herself. "Kelly Pitts" has become a reality star (on The Game) and we think Sheree is there to give her pointers on how to be a reality starlet.



Also added to the line up is another SUPERGORGE, Meagan Good. This photo of her and "Malik" sitting on a toilet, was swirling around a few months ago.
By the looks of things , Malik is up to his same ways, hooking up with famous women(remember he "dated" Serena Williams and was married to Robin Givens).

Last but not least is 106 &PARK host Terrance J!
When we 1st heard the news that he would be joining the cast of THE GAME, it seemed a little predictable,a BET show, so BET gets employee's they already have. But then we heard that Terrance was going to be the love interest of "Tasha Mack" and that peaked out interest! In the commercials for the new season "Tasha" says "I'm not a cougar, I'm a MOUNTAIN LION", lol, we love it! But WAIT!!! What happened to Rick Fox, you know RICK-FOX???

I guess we will have to wait until 1-11-11 to find out!!

I want to wish my SUPERGOURGE friend Ariel (@theeariel) a very happy 25th Bday!!! Ariel and I met in the 9th grade in Algebra class. Here is a very embrassing pic of us both back then,lol! Ariel is a mommy ,model and actress. She was on season 2 of BET's Hell Date! I look forward to seeing Ariel's star rise! Happy Birthday El, love you much!
