WHO WORE IT BEST? Kourtney VS Xiannie

I have loved both of the lines that Kourtney,Kim and Khloe Kardashian have done for BEBE! Have you all gotten any pieces from either collection? The collections have been very sexy, exactly what I would expect from the sexy siblings. Of course with it being their line, the Kardashian sisters have been spotted rocking their line as well as many people that I know and see out! One of the biggest trends for this spring/summer , just like last year is the Mesh look. Kourtney wore this Mesh Bodice Sleeveless Dress ($129 and SOLD OUT) from the KARDASHIAN|BEBE line to the opening of Beach Bunny Swimwear in L.A. in April.That same month, my friend Xiannie wore the same dress to a party we attended in Washington, DC. I'm excited that both of the ladies kept their hair simple, and pulled back showing of their equally gorgeous faces. Kourtney added a little edge to her dress by pairing it with a tribal horn necklace, while Xiannie opted out of wearing a necklace and instead went for long diamond hoop earrings. Loving This Look: Aztec/Tribal Clothing

One of my favorite looks of the season is Aztec/Tribal pieces. I wore this Aztec inspired dress on Cinco de Mayo, it is made by Motel , I have a few more pieces that are African and Tribal inspired that I can't wait to wear. I am pretty sure we will begin to see more and more people rocking this fabulous trend in the very near future once Alicia Keys' video (Feat. Beyonce') Put It In A Love Song premieres. The video was shot in Brazil and the outfits the 2 songbirds are wearing are from a line called BOXING KITTEN.
With the most anticipated movie of the year Sex And The City 2 (shot in Abu Dhabi) , opens in theaters next week, I can only imagine how many will flock to the trends that the FAB 4 will be wearing in the film. Tons of sequin, earth and jewel tones, reds, golds,greens,purples, turbans, sexy jeweled embellish dresses and harem pants. Spring has Sprung and summer is right around the corner!!

Hey SuperGourge People!!! I really have missed blogging, as I said in my last post things have been a little hectic, but things are all starting to work themselves out and I have a little more time on my hands! With that said, how excited are you guys about the fashion for Spring and Summer 2010? I love this time of the year and there are so many styles and trends that I am absolutely adoring right now! Often I get questions about my clothes, hair,and make up, so I wanted to start giving you all more details on them and as I wear things I will post pics and discuss.I will also post pics of some of my favorite items of the season. For example the necklace I have on the picture, I absolutely love it! I bought it last Spring(Forever 21 $22.80) and I absolutely love it! the colors are amazing and it dresses up a simple outfit, and for just over 20 bucks, you can't beat that! I am sure you guys will see me wear this necklace again (and again) I adore it!! I am kind of a big secret holder about my clothes, as a lot of us are, simply because no one wants to show up to an event looking like twins!! So if I don't share specific brands with you, I'm sorry! But I will give you as much details as possible! I also wanted to start spot lighting some of my fabulous friends and other fabulous people that I come in contact with on a daily basis. It's been a long time...I shouldnt have left you

Hello Super Gourge People!! I deeply apologize for slacking on my blogging lately!! Congrats Baltimore's own MO'NIQUE

I am Super Proud of fellow Baltimorean MO'nique for her big win at the 2010 Oscars for supporting Actress in Precious! I remember when I was younger my mom and her friends would go down to Mo'nique comedy club, I was huge fan of THE PARKERS and she is definitely our Queen of Comedy! So often being from Baltimore there aren't to many people that we can say "they made it" (although there are some Melo, Jada,etc)! But right now is all about MO! Congrats and keep making the 410 proud!!!

Thank the Fashion Gods for the Oscars! I love the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards, everyone brings their A game!Designer couture gowns, major bling and hopefully walking away with a gold man, that is what being a movie star is all about! As I watched the Red Carpet on E! I instantly knew who my top 5 Best dressed of the night were!

5. Nicole Richie wore a long sleeve backless Reem Acra gown! Absolutely loved it, Nicole is always very 70's, boho chic and it absolutely works for her!
4.Demi Moore,
is so Super Gourge it's disgusting! She is an ageless beauty who only gets better with age! I loved the nude tone of her Atelier Versace gown,it shaped her body perfectly and the tiered bottom was absolutely gorgeous!
3.Miley Cyrus, I am not usually a fan on Hanna Montanas alter ego, but lately Miley has shown she is growning into a stunning young woman! I loved bustier and the champagne/gold beading on the bottom of her Jenny Packham gown!It gave the statement "I'm turning into a woman"!
2.Sandra Bullock who won for BEST ACTRESS in THE BLIND SIDE looked like an Oscar winner in her Gold vintage gown! She commanded the Red Carpet like a winner!!

I absolutely adore Ms.Lopez, at age 42 and the mother of 2 year old twins she is even more stunning then before and makes me want to hit the gym a little harder! Dressed in Armani Prive,donned in Cartier diamonds,Jenny from the block again proves she cleans up absolutely SUPER GOURGE!!

MY BARBIE

I really hate to keep beating a dead horse, but this "BARBIE" thing is getting out of control and I feel with the weather warming up it is only going to get worse. You may ask where is this coming from, well I had a series of events this week that made me say hmmmm. 1st, at the Jay Z concert this past week, I saw more then a handful of Nicki Minaj/Barbie inspired outfits, if I've said it once, I'll say it again! NICKI MINAJ is a performer, and wears costumes, she can pull of the "Barbie gimmick" because she is entertaining! But, when a 20plus women attempts to recreate Nicki Minaj's look, it just looks foolish. Also at the show as Jay Z was doing his normal looking out to the audience and doing acknowledgements he shouted out a female with "pink hair , pink shirt, all pink everything" I felt completely embrassed for this women, she looked foolish and probably thought he was paying her a compliment, he was not! On Thursday night I ran into a high school friend whose actually birth name is BARBIE ,I asked her how she felt about this whole "Barbie Movement" and like me she thought it was foolish and she gets a little offended with it. She also let me know that her real name has gotten her many opportunities but it has also caused people not to take her seriously. Lastly, last night a friend of mine said she was out at a club and saw a women with BARBIE tattooed in the middle of her chest!! This has gone too far! In my previous blog I stated what BARBIE DOLL means to me, she is beautiful,confident,fashionable, successful, great life, love and friends, not a bra ,leggings, and pink tracks! When I came across the picture above, I thought this is the epitome of the kind of "BARBIE" I wanted to grow up in be when I was a child, she looks refined, established and ready to conquer anything! Ladies I am in know way bashing you , nor am I bashing Nicki Minaj, I really like her music, personality and her style for her! But as a grow women you have to know the difference between reality and entertainment purposes!
